dcfldd software package provides enhanced version of dd for forensics and security, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dcfldd
dcfldd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dcfldd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dcfldd *
You will get with dcfldd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
